A BOY, 16, was stabbed to death in the street in Wolverhampton and his knifeman is still on the loose.
Emergency services arrived at the incident on Mount Road in Lanesfield shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday, but the boy’s life could not be saved.
The teenager was found seriously injured and later pronounced dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation to find the boy’s killer.
Chief Inspector Will O’Connor said: “Firstly, my thoughts are with the boy’s family and friends during this extremely difficult time. They are now being supported by specialist officers.
“The investigation is progressing at pace and detectives are reviewing CCTV and forensically examining the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it had received several 999 calls to the incident, with the first ambulance arriving within three minutes.
A spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived on scene they found a teenage boy in a critical condition.
“The team worked rapidly to commence resuscitation on scene, administering advanced trauma care.
